Our CSR commitments & eco-friendly approach

Our charter commits us to respect the environment

The Hôtel Turenne Le Marais is part of Les Hôtels Victoria, a group of charming independent 3-star hotels. As such, we are collectively part of a CSR approach that commits us to sustainable development and respect for the environment, implying strong eco-responsible and civic-minded behaviour.

Our hotel is now eco-labelled and we have signed a CSR charter, which we share with our technical and maintenance teams, Management, of course, our partners, but also with you.

We have implemented a number of actions aimed at putting this commitment into practice on a daily basis. They are the expression of our strong values of ecology and sustainable development:

Commitment to the City of Paris’ “”Le Pari(s) Zéro Plastique”” initiative, the sole aim of which is to phase out single-use plastic (SUD) once and for all.
The hotel is committed to ecological behaviour: it has joined the “”Ici, je choisis l’eau de Paris”” (Here, I choose Paris water) movement, which means that you and all our staff, as well as passers-by, can enjoy drinking water that meets stringent quality criteria.

Our technical and maintenance teams have implemented strict procedures to save energy and reduce our carbon footprint:

Using low-energy light bulbs for all our lighting.
Improving the maintenance and repair of our equipment.
Choosing eco-friendly cleaning products.

A number of works have also been undertaken to improve the quality of life:

Thermal insulation of the hotel, contributing to significant energy savings.
Opening of 2 PMR (People with Reduced Mobility) rooms.
Accessibility for the disabled.

Corporate Social Responsibility is also expressed through our civic and ethical behaviour towards everyone.

Regular training of our teams in welcoming disabled guests and people with reduced mobility, to ensure that everyone receives the same quality of service in our hotel.
Use of the Levli system to facilitate the work of our room service teams.
1-check digital system and more fluid communication between departments: fewer printouts for maintenance, centralisation of room allocation to staff, better management of “lost and found” items.

This hidden face of our commitment to sustainable development and CSR finds concrete application on a daily basis, and you are of course the first to benefit from it.

Plastic bottles are replaced by glass bottles that can be refilled at will.
All products offered for consumption and hospitality products in the rooms are organic and fair trade.
Used batteries are collected at the front desk and a selective sorting bin is available at reception.

The key to success lies in everyone’s involvement. Our commitment is therefore a collective one, and we thank you for participating fully in these efforts through the small daily gestures that contribute to the proper application of our charter:

Favour journeys on foot or by bicycle
Switch off electrical appliances before going out
Leave the water running only when necessary
